About Us

Smoky Mountain 4x4’s and More is a family-owned dealership specializing in the sale of pre-owned Jeep Wranglers.  We are located in beautiful Townsend, Tennessee, otherwise known as the “Quiet Side of the Smokies”.  Most of the locals know our location as the “red caboose” on the main road in Townsend.  We proudly serve all surrounding towns, including Maryville, Alcoa, Knoxville, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg.  We have also had many customers come from surrounding states to purchase a Jeep from us.  

Integrity and customer service are priorities for us.  We pride ourselves in not only serving customers well, but most of all, serving our Lord Jesus Christ well. 

We charge NO dealer fees!  We like to tell people "the price is the price" (except, of course, for tax, title, and registration).  We also give away a free SM4x4's t-shirt to all purchasing customers AND a $25 gift card to Cades Cove Jeep Outpost to anyone purchasing a Jeep.  Regarding payment options, cash is always welcome, as well as financing from your bank or credit union.  We also accept major credit cards. 

We know that purchasing a vehicle can sometimes be stressful.  Come in and experience a laid-back, no pressure atmosphere where you will often be greeted by Remi, our English Setter “greeter” that you see in our photos.

We are SO excited to have a business in the Smoky Mountain area!  We genuinely love the people here and love serving you and meeting so many wonderful people - both "locals" and the many visitors to the area that stop in to take a look at our inventory.  Bob is originally from Florida, and Laurie spent most of her life in Pennsylvania.  We met in the middle and absolutely love this beautiful state of Tennessee. 

When we are not serving our customers at Smoky Mountain 4x4’s and More, we are often spending time with our dog, Remi, hiking or just hanging out with him or taking him through Cades Cove with us.  We love the outdoors and enjoying God’s beautiful creation. 

Remi Shaw

Remi is a 4-year old English Setter.  He is Laurie’s third English Setter.  She fell in love with the breed after adopting her first one from a shelter in Pennsylvania.  English Setters are definitely attached to their owners, so Remi is never far from one of us at any given time.  Bred to point game birds, English Setters love to run.  Remi is not a hunter, but he absolutely loves to run and “hunt” anything he can find in a field or in the woods.  He enjoys meeting new people and getting attention from anyone who come to the lot.
